Amazon Web Services (AWS)
This website is hosted by Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg. The servers are located in Frankfurt am Main, Germany (region eu-central-1). This website uses the cookie consent technology of Cookiebot (Usercentrics A/S, Havnegade 39, 1058 Copenhagen, Denmark) to obtain your consent to the storage of certain cookies on your device and to document this in a data-protection-compliant manner.

Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Tag Manager itself does not store any cookies and does not collect any personal data. However, Tag Manager triggers other tags that may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data.

Google Analytics 4
This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookies is usually transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA.
Google Analytics 4 uses IP anonymisation by default. Your IP address is truncated by Google within the EU/EEA before being transmitted to the USA.

Google Ads and Conversion Tracking
We use Google Ads, an online advertising service by Google Ireland Limited. As part of Google Ads, we use so-called conversion tracking. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is set.

Google Ads Enhanced Conversions
We use the "Enhanced Conversions" feature of Google Ads. When you submit a contact form, data you have voluntarily provided (e.g. email address, name, phone number) is transmitted to Google in hashed (encrypted) form. This serves to more accurately attribute conversions to ad clicks. Google cannot read the hashed data in plain text.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). Data is only transmitted if you have given your consent to the "Marketing" category via Cookiebot.
Google Ads Customer Match
We use the "Customer Match" feature of Google Ads to show you more relevant advertising and to exclude existing customers from new customer acquisition campaigns. Contact data (e.g. email addresses) from our CRM system (HubSpot) is transmitted to Google in hashed (encrypted) form. Google matches this hashed data with existing Google accounts to create audiences for our advertising campaigns. Google cannot read the hashed data in plain text and does not share it with third parties.
The uploaded data is used exclusively for customer matching and is deleted after a maximum of 540 days, unless the list is updated beforehand. Google does not create user profiles based on this data.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient use of advertising resources and avoidance of wastage). You can object to the use of your data for customer matching at any time by contacting us at datenschutz@jakobsmedien.com. Additionally, you can disable personalised advertising in your Google Ads settings.
Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
8. Embedded Content
YouTube (Enhanced Privacy Mode)
Our website uses plugins from the video platform YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). We use YouTube in enhanced privacy mode. According to YouTube, this mode means that YouTube does not store information about visitors to this website before they watch the video.
However, the sharing of data with YouTube partners is not necessarily excluded by the enhanced privacy mode. YouTube establishes a connection to the Google DoubleClick network regardless of whether you watch a video. Contact Form
When you submit enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provided (name, email address, phone number, message), are stored by us for the purpose of processing your enquiry and for follow-up questions.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in processing enquiries). Your data will be deleted after your enquiry has been conclusively processed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
HubSpot CRM
To manage customer enquiries, we use HubSpot (HubSpot, Inc., 25 First Street, Cambridge, MA 02141, USA / HubSpot Ireland Limited for EU data processing). When you use our contact form, your data is processed via the HubSpot API and stored in our CRM system.
HubSpot processes data on servers in the EU. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures). A data processing agreement has been concluded with HubSpot. Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

10. Email Communication
