National Marine Conference 2025
Film coverage of the National Marine Conference at WECC Berlin
On behalf of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment (BMUV), a film crew accompanied the National Marine Conference from May 6–7, 2025, at the Westhafen Event & Convention Center (WECC) in Berlin.
Scope of Services
Two film formats were produced during the two-day conference:
Social Media Format – A concise edit of the event with a total length of 2–3 minutes, optimized for digital communication on social media channels.
Highlight Film – A comprehensive event film featuring interviews and statements from participants, with a total length of 10–15 minutes.
Equipment Used
The production utilized, among other tools: Blackmagic URSA 12K camera with Tokina Cinema lenses, Sony Alpha 7C as a secondary camera, Zhiyun Crane 3s gimbal for dynamic shots, professional audio accessories including Sennheiser AVX wireless systems and shotgun microphone, Adicam camera dolly, and a mobile lighting setup for flexible on-site use.
Post-Production
Post-production included editing, color grading, royalty-free music selection, subtitling, and delivery of the films as video on demand via a GDPR-compliant media library.
